Making the right investment means understanding your options and selecting a machine that will best suit your requirements. Conveyors can come with a variety of modules and differing levels of versatility, further influencing the level of return on investment you can expect.
Many manufacturers, ourselves included, have their custom models designed for specific circumstances, work on particular products, or otherwise perform in a way best suited to their environment.
Belt Conveyors
Material goods and components drive our world in so many ways. Pull the manufacturing curtain to one side, and you’ll find Belt Conveyors are frequently at the heart of getting those items to their final form, ready for the mass market.
As a rule, Belt Conveyors are extremely versatile, and are used globally for large and small-scale product and material transfer.
Applications can range from sending raw plants or grains towards a treatment centre, moving computer hardware through a warehouse, or guiding hundreds of retail items to a packing team. More visible, commercial uses of Belt Conveyor systems include supermarket tills and luggage handling at airports.
So, whether you’re a manufacturing giant or a customer-facing business, there may be a use for Belt Conveyor in your operations.
Gravity Conveyors
A gravity conveyor is able to move your load without using a motor power source. Gravity conveyors can be used to send products or work from one part of your premises to another. Examples of gravity conveyors can include roller conveyors and gravity chutes. They take their name from the way that they use gravity to move goods downwards rather than electricity or motors and are built on an incline to make the movement process a smooth and efficient one.
Flexible Conveyor
Flexible Conveyors have proven to be invaluable in some of the most demanding environments. Renown for flexibility and durability the Flexible Conveyors are perfect for loose loading and unloading applications. Loose loading eliminates ‘dead space’ created by pallets or roll cages.
Engineered to the highest standards required to ensure the rigorous demands of dispatch areas, distribution centres and parcel handling hubs. They are a cost-effective handling solution for all industries, large or small.
Flexible Conveyors are available as Powered, Gravity and Gravity Skate Wheel and can be quickly manoeuvred, stretched and positioned on braked swivel castors in seconds.
Modular Conveyor
Generally designed with hygiene in mind the Asmech Systems Ltd Modular Conveyor is typically made from Stainless Steel Grade 304 (mild steel powder coated available if required) and is available in standard lengths up to 2980mm long with longer lengths being achieved by using splice joints.
With heavy duty support legs that come complete with easily adjustable feet (or castors if required)
Asmech Systems Ltd Modular Conveyor can be supplied with all types of material and widths for conveying all types of product from food preparation to bottle and pack distribution. Flights can be fitted to the belt if required.
Belts can be horizontal or inclined and accommodate bends and spirals for limitless configurations; with the drive shafts either at the head end or in a mid-position, under-slung beneath the conveyor body. Tensioning devices are provided to ensure correct setting.
Pallet Conveyor
Our latest design of Heavy Duty Pallet Conveyor is our most maintenance friendly solution to date. Customers benefit from the follow characteristics.
With easy access to components for maintenance, the new chain pallet conveyor was designed alongside our customers to provide a deeper understanding of their ongoing requirements.
Interchangeable facility is available. Customers can swap, remove or insert into their conveyor using a simple lift procedure and modular design.
Rotary Table Systems
Rotary table systems are usually situated at the beginning or end of a production line, the product is fed on by a conveyor, and the product is singulated or accumulated on the table, allowing the operators to pack the product or pick and place on to pallets or totes.
Manufactured from Stainless Steel Grade 304, complete with an SEW Eurodrive motor and isolator as standard. We offer the service of cut-outs, product guides and infeed plates, if this is required please contact our team for prices.
A cost-effective way to ensure operators have more time to pack product, and increase the efficiency of the whole production line.
Slat Conveyor
Slat Conveyors are available in Straight Running, Side Flexing & Side Gripping (plus others for specialist applications) with high efficiency options also available.
They are used extensively throughout all industry sectors; for the conveying of products from one area to another, and form the basis of many major conveying projects. Asmech Systems Ltd have vast experience in the design, manufacture and installation of slat conveyors and as such can offer everything from a one off conveyor to a complete turn-key conveying solution.
Manufactured from Stainless Steel Grade 304 (or mild steel powder coated available if required) and available in standard lengths.
With heavy duty support legs, complete with easily adjustable feet (or castors if required)
A fully modular slat solution; the slat conveyor has the option of being supplied with varying types of side guides to suit different products, these include fixed width, manually adjustable and pneumatically adjustable.
Spiral Conveyor
Many customers now have factories where production and storage is spread across multiple floor levels; this calls for products to be either raised or lowered vertically
Working with our associate company AmbaFlex, we have the ability for customising materials handling systems by including spiral conveyor technology. The SpiralVeyor can be used in a wide range of markets and applications for vertical transportation, temporary storage and the accumulation of single goods and packed products, whilst being both flexible and cost-effective.
Ambaflex SpiralVeyors provide a continuous throughput whilst featuring the smallest footprint available; saving valuable floor space for an efficient system layout. As a standard, the spirals are fully reversible to enable feeding to or from various levels.
Spiral conveyors are an ideal solution for those wishing to create space in their operations. Spirals are able to convey a substantial amount of product within vertical space and are noted for their modest energy consumption, using a small number of motors. When you opt for a spiral solution, you can simplify and therefore reduce costs for wiring, controls and installation. They are also highly-regarded for their speed.
Chain Conveyor
A chain conveyor is a conveyor system designed to move loads of a specific nature through a production line. Chain conveyors are often used to transport heavy loads, wide loads and loads that are not suitable for rollers. They are made from chains that are located within guides and are frequently used for carrying automotive items like car bodies and large parts. They also carry industrial products such as radiators, pallets, industrial containers and grid boxes.
The conveyors feature a continuous arrangement of chains with a number of single pendants. The arrangement is powered by a motor. They can be used to send products down assembly lines and around environments such as warehouses and factories. Chain conveyors generally require minimal maintenance and only take a short time to install. This means you can spend more time using them and less time setting them up or repairing them. The conveyors can heighten productivity whilst reducing downtime, delivering an exceptional return on investment.
Roller Conveyor
Asmech Systems Ltd design and manufacture a wide variety of powered roller conveyor systems to suit all conveying requirements. When handling cases, totes or cartons, utilising a powered roller conveyor will bring huge benefits.
We design and manufacture powered roller conveyor systems to meet a host of needs, offering solutions that are ideal for the handling of cases, totes and cartons. The products that we offer include heavy duty rollers, motorised drum rollers, line shaft driven rollers and chain driven conveyors.
Chain-driven powered roller conveyors are noted for their power and perfect for the transportation of heavy items. Palletised goods are often moved with such systems. Slipping is not an issue, which is another reason why roller conveyors are a great match for high-weight loads. Chains and sprockets fix the rollers together, the driver rollers and motor connect.
