I have used Asmech over many years, they are my go to suppliers of bespoke conveying systems, they have installed solutions for me when I’ve been consulting for Dairy Crest, Princes soft drinks and more recently, McCormick Foods.
In 2021 they installed a bespoke bypass system on a water based cooler used to cool pouches of sauce, the conveyors were used to transport sauces that didn’t require cooling.
The system used a number of conveyors which were linked together, these conveyors followed the periphery of the spiral cooler, they were integrated into the coolers control system which meant the changeover was effected by the pressing of one button, this minimised the need for specially trained staff and reduced the changeover time to near zero.
Would I use them again? Most Definitely!!

Asmech Systems are a relatively new contractor to Glenair who were brought on board to maintain a spiral conveyor.
This conveyor is crucial to an area of the business and as such we required a company who were reliable and quick to react to minimise any downtime.
Thus far, Asmech have achieved just this.
The Asmech introduction into Glenair was very reassuring.
We first met with the Operations Director who assessed the condition of our conveyor and very honestly advised that they would not recommend a full-service package due to the age of the machine and recommended an ad-hoc service package.
Our second experience with Asmech was for a machine fault.
A service engineer attended site to a breakdown. He was prompt and even took the time to show our Maintenance team the basic running’s of the equipment to allow us to carry out some future fixes ourselves, saving us machine downtime.
Overall, communication has been faultless, staff are professional yet personable and we
would highly recommend this company.
